SKYMARKS AEROMEXICO 787-8 1/200

Comprising superior quality, solid, substantial injection molded plastic components with a simple snap-fit design that allows for easy assembly without the need for glue, this SkyMarks 1/200 Scale Aero Mexico Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner measures approximately 11-inches long with a 12-1/8-inch wingspan. An accurate, true-to-scale reproduction of the actual aircraft, the model is great for collectors and features authentic, highly detailed graphics and markings.

Having entered service in 2011 as a more fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly replacement aircraft for the aging Boeing 767-200ER, the innovative, twin-engine, wide-body Boeing 787-8, which was Boeing's introductory model in the 787 series, was deemed to be an ideal size to accommodate approximately 250 passengers, as market demand for the Boeing 747 and 767 had begun to slow down.

With a range of nearly 7,400 nautical miles, the Boeing 787-8 was designed to shift hub-and-spoke travel to new, non-stop, ultra-long-haul, direct point-to-point routes where bigger aircraft could not be accommodated or were financially justifiable.

Recognized by its prominently curved wings with raked back wingtips and chevrons on its engine nacelles, the Boeing 787-8 not only provides maximum flying pleasure with a very spacious interior design, larger windows, lower cabin noise and improved oxygen levels, it comprises technologically advanced, state-of-the-art avionics and electronics systems along with an airframe that primarily consists of lightweight composite materials.
