An accurate, true-to-scale reproduction of the actual aircraft, the model is great for collectors and features authentic, highly detailed graphics and markings. United and Eastern were the initial launch customers for the Boeing 727-100, which first flew in February 1963. Mainly used for domestic flights, the Boeing 727-100 is a narrow-body airliner that was developed to address the demand for smaller aircraft for use on shorter flights from smaller airports. Boeing ended production of the 727 series in September 1984, having built a total of 1,832 planes.
